Mobile Systems and Pervasive Computing (MobiSPC) have evolved into an active area of research and development. This is due to the tremendous advances in a broad spectrum of technologies and topics, including wireless networking, mobile and distributed computing, sensor systems, RFID technology, and the ubiquitous mobile phone. MobiSPC solicits papers that focus on the theory, systems, practices and challenges of providing users with a successful mobile or wireless experience. This includes how mobile computing changes how people pervasively use their computers, computing resources and applications, as well the systems, services and technologies enabling those applications.
MobiSPC will provide a leading-edge, scholarly forum for researchers, engineers, and students alike to share their state-of-the-art research and developmental work in the broad areas of pervasive computing and mobile systems.
PUBLICATION
All MobiSPC 2026 accepted papers will be published by Elsevier Science in the open-access Procedia Computer Science series on-line. Procedia Computer Science is hosted by Elsevier on www.Elsevier.com and on Elsevier content platform ScienceDirect (www.sciencedirect.com), and will be freely available worldwide. All papers in Procedia will be indexed by Scopus (www.scopus.com) and by Thomson Reuters' Conference Proceeding Citation Index (http://thomsonreuters.com/conference-proceedings-citation-index/). All papers in Procedia will also be indexed by Scopus (www.scopus.com) and Engineering Village (Ei) (www.engineeringvillage.com). This includes EI Compendex (www.ei.org/compendex). Moreover, all accepted papers will be indexed in DBLP (http://dblp.uni-trier.de/). The papers will contain linked references, XML versions and citable DOI numbers. You will be able to provide a hyperlink to all delegates and direct your conference website visitors to your proceedings. Selected papers will be invited for publication, in the special issues of:
- International Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing by Springer (http://www.springer.com/engineering/journal/12652)
- International Journal of Computing and Informatics (http://www.cai.sk/ojs/index.php/cai/index)
- International Journal of Ubiquitous Systems and Pervasive Networks, IASKS (https://iasks.org/juspn)
- International Journal of Computer Networks (Pending), Elsevier (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/computer-networks)
MobiSPC 2026 will be held in conjunction with the 21st International Conference on Future Networks and Communications (FNC, https://cs-conferences.acadiau.ca/fnc-26/) and the 16th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Information Technology (SEIT: https://cs-conferences.acadiau.ca/seit-26/).
VENUE
MobiSPC 2026 will be held in the city of Athens. Athens is the capital of Greece, the birthplace of Western civilization, democracy, and philosophy, with a history spanning over 3,000 years. Key attractions include the ancient Acropolis and Parthenon, its unique combination of historic sites with modern urban life, a sprawling pedestrian zone around the Acropolis, and its significance as a cultural and economic hub.
